With this in mind Pacific Landscape Management (PLM) is seeking a Project Manager in our busy Enhancements Department in Maltby, WA. This is a unique position that requires a blend of:
- Software proficiency (particularly Excel)
- Landscaping experience that includes irrigation installs, paver patios/walkway installs, flagstone installs, retaining wall installs, synthetic turf installs, landscape cleanups, hedge pruning, mulch installation, annual flower change outs, and wetland maintenance, and
- Frequent customer-facing communication.
The position works directly with clients to
- Understand their vision for their landscape needs and then accurately estimate the work
- Coordinate and manage projects to completion within budgeted hours while meeting company quality standards, and accurately account for project costs.
- Manage landscaping bids and projects using company spreadsheets and our Aspire Workflow Management System.
We are seeking candidates who ideally have:
- 3-5 years of landscape construction foreperson or related experience.
- Experience with Pacific Northwest plant identification, water management, plant needs and pruning practices.
- Experience working both independently and with a team.
- Possess a WA State Pesticide License (or obtain one within 60 days of employment).
- experience reading landscape plans.
- Some irrigation system knowledge.
