Responsibilities:
The Sr. Payroll Administrator is responsible for the timely and accurate processing of the company’s payroll every pay period, and off-cycle as required.

Process semi-monthly Exempt and Non-exempt payroll for employees across multiple states, including CA.

Review and validate Payroll Reports to ensure accurate information. Verify and reconcile adjustments, bonuses, commissions, deductions and draws. If corrections are required, submit corrected batches for reprocessing; if batches are correct, forward reports for review and final approval by Payroll Manager.

Process off cycle payrolls as necessary.

Review UKG time and attendance;

Issue Paycard for corrections or omissions as necessary.
Garnishment set up and processing. -
Respond to Employment Verification requests and other state requests as needed.

Assist with requests for information, reports and various system support.

Answer general employee questions and provide assistance to employees.

Qualifications:
Education:
-
High School Diploma or educational equivalent required.
-
CPP or FPC designation preferred, not required.
Experience:
-
Five (5) years multi-state Payroll experience, UKG experience a plus
Technical Skills:
-
Strong computer skills with expertise in Microsoft Windows Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and primarily Excel
Interpersonal/Communication Skills:
-
Strong Oral/Written Communication and Interpersonal, and Customer Service skills; ability to communicate effectively with a high degree of professionalism

Frequent interactions with a wide variety of internal and external contacts, with all levels of authority and responsibility

Ability to react and respond favorably, manage conflict and resolve problems in a professional manner

Team Player; and demonstrated ability to work within cross-functional teams
