Warehouse Associate:
This position will be responsible for providing support to the Warehouse Manager. This position will support in receiving, binning, picking, packing and shipping of service parts, including all warehouse functions surrounding the efficient movement of service parts and operational supplies.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Receive and count stock items, and record data manually or using computer.
- Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yards.
- Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors.
- Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses
- Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors.
- Accurately process, package and prepare parts orders for delivery to customers.
- Develop and maintain good safety and housekeeping procedures within the department in accordance with company policy and government regulations.
- Administer established security procedures within the department for the protection of company assets.
- Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications/Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent required, college preferred, 2 years work experience in warehousing.
Strong general knowledge of all warehousing operations, with prior work experience
Ability to analyze problems and make decisions for correction
Have an extreme sense of emergency
Good communications skills, both oral and written
Comfortable using computers
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
