Duties:
- Procure goods and services for the company in line with specified requirements and budget constraints.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing.
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed to maintain adequate stock.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand purchasing needs and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Utilize systems such as SAP, Oracle EBS, and AS400 for efficient procurement processes.
- Conduct sourcing activities to identify reliable suppliers and maintain vendor relationships.
- Evaluate supplier performance and address any issues or discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to purchasing activities.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or related field.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure advantageous terms.
- Familiarity with purchasing systems such as SAP, Oracle EBS, or AS400.
- Knowledge of sourcing strategies and vendor management practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
