- Obtain patient medical history
- Measure visual acuity and pinhole tests, assess ocular motility, and confrontation visual fields, and refraction (strongly preferred if able to refract)
- Applanation Tonometry or willingness to learn or intraocular pressure checking using tonopen/iCare as well as willingness to learn
- Conduct visual field testing, Perform OCT, Fundus Photos and be willing to learn
- Maintain proficiency in procedure support and diagnostic coding
- Document medical visits and procedures as they are being performed by the physician accurately and thoroughly.
- Prepare exam rooms and assist during physician exam.
- Perform clerical tasks as needed by the physician including faxing, phone calls, referral letters.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
