The Medina County Sheriff's Office is seeking a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse to help provide health care to inmates. This position will be expected to treat minor illnesses and injuries, administer medications and conduct basic annual physicals. The ideal candidate for this position has experience in corrections, and will keep accurate records of inmate progress and responses to treatment. This is a full-time, shift is 2p-2a Monday-Thursday, 2p-10p every other weekend, 72 hours bi-weekly.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care to patients.
- Administer medications as ordered by physicians.
- Prepare patients for examination, treatment, and surgery.
- Relocate patients or move them from one bed to another.
- Monitor patients vital signs and other clinical indicators, such as skin color, pulse, breathing rate, and level of consciousness.
- Record patient's condition under physician orders.
- Perform general housekeeping tasks in the patient care area.

Pay: $27.00 - $33.00 per hour
