RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Assist in managing and coordinating select grant initiatives and apprenticeship programs offered through the School of Continuing Education.
2. Responsible for tracking enrollment numbers, student data, budget expenditures, and measurable outcomes.
3. Assist with the development of marketing materials and student recruitment for special projects.
4. Assist with collaborating with faculty, staff, businesses, and organizations to promote initiatives and recruit students.
5. Manage supplies and inventory associated with special projects and submit supply orders as needed.
6. Manage and assign classroom spaces/locations associated with special projects.
7. Perform general office support duties including answering telephone; greeting visitors, students, and/or employees; screening calls; taking messages; responding to voice or e-mail messages; referring individuals and inquires to appropriate personnel; and disseminating department or institution information as necessary.
8. Assists special project participants with tasks such as filling out enrollment forms and submitting tuition and/or tuition waivers.
9. Assists with distributing electronic announcements informing participants of updates and upcoming events.
10. Perform routine duties using word processing, data processing, data entry, database management, and other computer systems and software.
11. Maintain calendar for upcoming events, meetings, projects, and activities, and schedule appointments.
12. Compile data and maintain department records and files needed for preparation of reports.
13. Develop effective processes to retrieve and update files as necessary.
14. Performs other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor according to established practices, procedures, techniques, and standards.
15. This is a temporary position starting 4/1/2024 to 03/31/2025.
