Digital Print Production Associate Job Responsibilities:
A digital print production associate operates the Hinterkopf D240.2 direct-to-can digital printing machine and is integral to the digital print production process and distribution of product. The position understands and executes the digital print workflow, including receipt of raw materials, graphics loading and scheduling, digital print production process, troubleshooting routine machinery errors, and shipment of finished goods.
Digital Print Production Associate Job Duties:
· Works with the Digital Production Designer in understanding and executing the computer processes required to import final art files to the digital printer
· Works with the Production Team to execute the weekly production schedule
· Transfers the production schedule to digital print software to ensure production run volumes are accurate
· Troubleshoots routine print machine errors and issues
· Operates depalletizer, conveyance, and repalletizer machinery to effectively ready and complete print production orders
· Operates various machinery including forklifts, pallet jacks and other material handling equipment
· Assists the production team with development and implementation of quality assurance processes
· Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets for shipping or in parcels for mailing
· Works with the Production Team to keep a neat and tidy work environment
· Other duties as required or assigned
Digital Print Production Associate Job Requirements:
· Ability to perform these operations using units of American currency and weight measurement, volume, and distance
· Acceptable physical fitness with the ability to lift up to a maximum of 75 pounds
· Has a general understanding of technology
· 2 years of work experience in a business environment
· Enjoys working hard and continual learning
· High School diploma / GED
Digital Print Production Associate Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience in the digital printing industry
· Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) forklift certification
· Craving to work in a fast-paced environment for a growing, entrepreneurial company
· Desire to lead a team as the business grows
· Any other vocational training or qualification is a plus
