The Role:
The Medical Assistant is responsible for providing administrative and clinical support to ensure efficient Lab operation. You will support our clients through a variety of tasks related to Laboratory collection and vaccines, clinic maintenance, front office responsibilities and maintain communication with other laboratory team members. Additional responsibilities include:
- Checks patients in for their appointments
- Confirms and updates patient’s demographics
- Collects hair and nail samples and prepares for laboratory testing
- Collects urine samples and prepares for laboratory testing
- Witnesses clients for observed observed urine.
- Collect Oral and Nasal fluid samples and perform rapid tests for Viral infections.
- Draws patient blood samples
Our ideal candidate has:
Strong computer skills and the ability to type 50 words per minute. You have the ability to communicate effectively with clients and adapt to individual needs as well as a strong vocabulary, accurate spelling, and use of punctuation. You are non-judgmental, empathetic, hold yourself to highest ethical standards, and have impeccable time management skills.
. Requirements:
Minimum Requirements to be considered:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Maintain MA Phlebotomy licensing through the state/agency (as applicable per state of Washington)
- Maintain BLS/CPR certification
- CMA or National Certification preferred
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour

- Medical Office Experience: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:
- Washington Phlebotomy Certification or MA Certification (Required)
- Certified Medical Assistant Certificate (Preferred)
- Certified Phlebotomy Technician license (Required)
Ability to Relocate:
