DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL: Performing DSP duties in our Slayton building
*Provide care and assistance to persons with physical and intellectual disabilities.
*Physical requirements include the ability to lift, bend, twist, and push wheelchairs.
*Duties include feeding, toileting, giving medications, and helping persons with work and leisure activities.
*Work closely with agency Supervisor and Coordinators to implement in house programming.
*Complete paperwork as specified by the Developmental Achievement Center ( DAC) and Department of Human Services (DHS).
*Complete yearly training as outlined by DAC and DHS.
*Transport persons to and from the DAC and on activities in the community.
No experience necessary, we will train.
Hours are between 8:45-3:00 pm, Monday thorough Friday. No evenings or weekends. Benefits include sick and vacation time, major holiday pay, and retirement plan available after waiting period.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $13.50 per hour
Expected hours: 28.75 per week
