Job Title: Systems Administrator

Job Purpose:
To provide technical software, hardware, and network problem resolution onsite to the client. Perform problem diagnosis and guide users through step-by-step solutions in a desktop support-based environment. Provide technical solutions in a user-friendly, professional manner, facilitating one-to-one end-user training as required and ensure site technical documentation is maintained.
Main Responsibilities:
- Ensure the smooth running of the client’s systems and network infrastructure to maximize benefits.
- Log and investigate customer tickets, applying permanent fixes or workarounds to restore service where possible.
- Provide Level 2 server, network, and desktop technical support, achieving a high level of first-time fix.
- Take end-to-end ownership of customer tickets, identifying underlying causes and managing permanent solutions, escalating to Senior Engineers as necessary.
- Manage and adhere to internal and customer SLAs, escalating concerns as needed.
- Manage client expectations through clear communications.
- Work closely with the customer to maintain and support infrastructure and resolve tickets effectively.
- Perform hardware and software installations.
- Create and maintain customer-specific infrastructure documentation within the client’s knowledge system.
- Collaborate with the wider team, sharing information to enable confident and effective issue resolution.
- Take responsibility for continuous professional development, staying updated with industry and technical knowledge.
- Ensure accurate time entry in the client’s ticket management system and submit timesheets weekly.
- Fulfill other reasonable requests as necessary.

- Intermediate knowledge of Firewalls, Routers & VPN technologies
- Intune administration and management
- Cloud-based SaaS environments
- Manage and support hardware assets and stock
- Experience with Firewalls like Cisco FirePower, Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, or other next-gen firewall experience (a plus)
- SharePoint creation and administration (a plus)
- DNS management through Active Directory-based DNS structure for domain entries and troubleshooting name resolution issues on endpoints using standard tools.
- Zoom/Teams/Exchange management and administration
This role emphasizes strong technical skills in systems administration, desktop support, and customer service within a cloud-centric environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
