Our U.S. division is located in Blaine, WA, and processes commercial imports arriving into all U.S. ports of entry, including ground, rail, ocean, and air. This location is supported by regional offices across Canada to carry out importing and exporting needs 24/7.
We are searching for a highly-motivated, team-oriented entry writer for our ground freight release team, to assist in processing the needs of our clients and supply chain partners quickly and efficiently.
Duties and responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:
- Distribute Customs and PGA releases
- Check documents for the required clearance information
- Interacting with U.S. Customs and partnered government agencies in a professional manner via phone and email
- Daily follow up on entry discrepancy issues
- Data entry
- Answering phone calls
- Other tasks assigned by Management
We are seeking to fill a Tuesday-Saturday shift. Tuesday-Friday Noon-8pm Pacific Time and Saturday 8am-4pm Pacific Time. The Saturday shift has some flexibility with the start time and can be discussed if hired. This position participates in a rotating on-call shift.
Only candidates who reside in Washington State will be considered at this time.
Competitive wages offered, commensurate with industry experience, along with extensive health benefits (medical, dental, and vision), two weeks paid vacation, and five personal days.
The ideal candidate will have three or more years of Customs Brokerage/Import or CHB entry writing experience, in particular high volume Truck clearances, Classification and PGA compliance experience, general office, and data entry experience to comply with ACE regulations.
