Maintenance Technician for KENOSHA, WI location
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Performs routine maintenance on the properties and related structures.
· Assist in preparing vacant apartments to market ready condition as needed.
· Respond to resident requests and work orders in a timely fashion and provide detailed notes.
· Inspect buildings and grounds to ensure safety and cleanliness.
· Performs snow removal including outside of regular business hours as needed.
· Perform preventative maintenance tasks.
· Maintain cleanliness in common areas.
· Erects, removes, repairs, and maintains signage throughout the property.
· Maintains equipment and tools used in performance of duties.
· Maintain a professional and courteous attitude by providing exceptional customer service.
· Assists other departments as needed, holds place in on-call schedule and shares availability for emergency situations.
· Performs all other related duties as requested or assigned.
Education and/or Experience
High School Diploma or G.E.D. and a valid driver’s license
Knowledge/Skill
- Working knowledge of hand tools and basic building maintenance
- Ability to troubleshoot.
- Ability to work in a team as well as independently.
- 1-2 years of maintenance or construction experience.
- MUST BE DEPENDABLE, RELIABLE,
- Consistent work experience
- Pay range from $40k to $70 depending on skills and certifications.

Position requires driving to and from work sites; working outside in all seasons with varying levels of exposure to wind, rain, snow, ice, sun; working in busy traffic areas and intersections; and working within confines of both underground and overhead system structures and construction sites.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to perform some prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, pulling, grasping, observing, climbing, balancing, and lifting, carrying, and moving objects 50 + lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
Work is mainly performed in a normal office environment and occasionally completed outside in all weather conditions and on uneven terrain or in garage structures that are often cooler or hotter than normal offices. Noise levels are usually moderate (normal office) and occasionally high due to the use of equipment and the running of vehicle engines.
