We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Water Mitigation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in water damage restoration, demo, mold remediation, along with excellent communication skills. This individual will be responsible for water mitigation projects from start to finish, ensuring that all work is completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial assessments of water damage situations, help make a plan, and communicate project requirements to the team.
- Perform water extraction, drying, dehumidification, and other mitigation tasks as needed for the loss.
- Monitor equipment and ensure proper setup, operation, and documentation.
- Provide excellent customer service and address any concerns or issues promptly and involve Supervisor.
- Maintain accurate documentation of project activities, including photos, job logs, sketches, and equipment inventory.
- Work with mitigation admin staff to communicate effectively with customers, insurance adjusters, and others involved in the job to provide updates, address concerns, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Help train and mentor junior technicians to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment for yourself and your team.
Qualifications:
- At least two years of experience in the water mitigation or restoration industry, with demonstrated proficiency in water extraction, drying, and restoration techniques is preferred.
- IICRC Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT) certification desired.
- Ability to sketch losses, use Matterport and moisture logs.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers and team members.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass background screen.
- You are honest, dependable and punctual.
- Availability for on-call rotation and occasional overtime as needed.
