A Stylist must have strong product knowledge and know how to connect with and style a client. Clear understanding of how to develop and close a sale is a key element to a Stylist?s success. Stylists are energetic, team players who are passionate about fashion and thrive in a competitive sales environment. Stylists are responsible for achieving their own sales metrics with the unified goal of increasing store sales and revenue.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ability to set and achieve sales goals.
- Ability to excel in a competitive sales and team environment.
- Able to quickly assess customer?s needs and skilled at asking the appropriate questions in order to effectively provide style guidance.
- Portray constant enthusiasm, friendliness, and positive energy with a genuine desire to provide outstanding customer service.
- Build lasting relationships with every client.
- Continually build on product knowledge and sales skills by following the Company?s ?Five Steps of Selling.?
- Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative independent of direct supervision
- Manage personal clientele book through thank you cards, emails, and send gifts with qualified purchases.
- Work with team to keep the store in impeccable shape. Assist with stocking, re-merchandising, display, price markdowns, merchandise transfers, and light cleaning.
- Maintain persistent follow through with tasks and follow up with perspective clients.
- Participate and assist with store inventory.
- Assist with store events, parties and functions when needed.
- Act upon progressive clienteling through the Company?s customer relationship management (CRM) program, Tulip Retail. Maintain consistent conversation and friendly follow-up with every customer.
