The hiring range for this position is $18.00 to $20.00 depending on experience.
The Outside Sales Support Specialist position is responsible for providing support to outside sales representative including helping them prepare for customer meeting and entering in sales orders.
Key areas of responsibility include order entry, work orders, production scheduling, filing and coordination, assisting with quotes or proposals, troubleshooting problems, tracks shipments, sends out sales support material, and general outside sales support.
Reports To: Customer Success Manager

Accurately enter in outside sales representative orders and general account orders timely

Provide assistance to outside sales representatives regarding order status, shipping information, and other inquiries

Review orders for completeness and accuracy insuring correct information is entered for invoicing

Monitors inbound company email accounts and responds and/or reroutes emails depending on need

Pleasantly and helpfully interacts with customers, warehouses and shippers
-
Other general sales support as needed

Provide timely responses to outside sales representatives and other general account requests

Communicate essential shipping and order information to outside sales representatives and general accounts
-
Review outside sales representative order status to ensure timely processing
-
Offers additional support to sales team as needed and contribute to the team's overall success

Handles difficult situations calmly and with confidence

Maintains good organization and follows each customer service request through to completion

Records and keeps track of all required information to support accurate reporting

Educational and experience requirements include:

Proven experience in sales support, customer service, or a similar role.
