Job Title: LPHA/Therapist Assessor (hybrid role)
Reports To: Clinical Team Lead
Role: Under the direction of Clinical Team Lead and Director of CAMHS, LPHA/Therapist performs clinical activities including independent assessments and service interventions as directed by the treatment plan. Therapists primarily provide Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family Counseling, and Trauma Focused CBT to individuals and families. Therapist provides initial assessments and reassessments to authorize medical necessity of services as indicated. Services are provided via face to face and teletherapy modalities. Local travel to community sites to provide services is required as described below: Office/community-based hours are required to be held a minimum of 2 days for assessment of clients requesting in person assessments in office or community site, and for psychotherapy services to clients requesting in person therapy services at the office.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:· Collaborate on uniform assessment and treatment planning process for their assigned caseload.· Complete intake and yearly diagnostic assessments as assigned.· Collaborate with multidisciplinary treatment team. Complete agency-approved clinical documentation in an electronic medical record in a timely manner.· Participate in clinical consultation/staffing. Provide crisis intervention as needed for assigned caseload.· Provide education to clients on the nature of mental illness and treatment.· Complete training as designated.· Participate in professional development activities.· Attend all mandatory staff meetings. Be familiar with and follow all legal and ethical guidelines within the Texas Administrative Code and respective board rules.
Education/Certification Requirements: Requires master’s degree and active LCSW, LMFT or LPC licensure in the State of Texas. Completion of yearly agency safety and competencies training. Completion of agency assessments training.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
