Job Description:
The Training Coordinator of the Naomi Ruth Cohen Institute (NRCI) is responsible for supporting the Executive Director and other team members in providing mental health education and training to The Chicago School campuses and the community. The Training Coordinator will report to the Executive Director and work collaboratively with NRCI Fellows and Graduate Assistants to achieve the objectives. This is a full-time position. Responsibilities may be performed remotely, on the Chicago campus, and at a community site in the Chicagoland area as needed.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
In collaboration with the Executive Director of NRCI, work with individual presenters and organizational partners to plan events including but not limited to scheduling, outlining event content, contracts and invoices
Prepare surveys, collect data, and create reports, including quarterly summaries on NRCI activities and grants
Coordinate with the Office of Continuing Education to apply for, maintain, and issue CEUS, tracking eligible programs and providing attendance verification
Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Advanced computer skills, including Excel, Word, Power Point, and Adobe Acrobat Pro
Associate's degree or equivalent, bachelor's or Master’s degree in mental health, social work or related field preferred
Two to four years related experience; teaching, training and/or program coordination experience preferred
Certified MHFA/YMHFA or QPR instructor preferred
Ability to travel to program and training sites as required
Must be able to work in a ybrid position (physical office, community locations, and virtual workspace)
Willingness to work on an occasional evening or weekend day
Compensation & Benefits
This opportunity is budgeted at $20.00 - $24.00 per hour base compensation. Additional compensation factors may impact total compensation.
