Job Description
This role sits in the Informa Medical portfolio and will be responsible for developing course material, instructional strategies and assessment techniques and ensuring appropriate integration of instructional technologies into courses. In this role, you will liaise regularly with key faculty, providing them consultation and guidance on the best pedagogical course content delivery and instructional methods. You will provide faculty training and workshops on the Learning Management System (LMS) and other various integrated systems and ensure online course certification reviews and existing course certification reaffirmations.

Qualifications

2-4 years of experience developing and building courses in the healthcare sector

Proficiency in Online Course Management systems such as Canvas or similar platforms.

Familiarity with Online authoring tools like Adobe Creative Cloud, Respondus, or similar software.

Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS), website builders, and application software.

Utilization of current instructional design tools and software.

Innovative thinking and problem-solving skills to explore new technology, processes, and methodologies.

Competence in digital video editing.

Meticulous attention to detail coupled with effective time and task management abilities.

Ability to organize and prioritize multiple competing priorities to optimize personal and team productivity.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills for regular interaction with internal and external stakeholders, including relationship building, managing customer expectations, and delivering high-level service.

Oversight of online course certification reviews and existing course certification reaffirmations.

Management of course projects from inception to completion, including consulting with faculty on curriculum design and multimedia utilization.

Collaboration with faculty to prepare and develop curriculum content.

Effective utilization of distance learning technologies and online education, staying updated on industry trends.

Coordination of searches for reusable learning objects and working with faculty to incorporate them into course design.

Development of evaluation products and methods to assess instructional design effectiveness.

Researching and recommending advancements in multimedia and course delivery software.

Coordinating the scheduling of distance learning courses and maintaining course development schedules.

Supervision or involvement in the selection, development, and coordination of course materials and instructional media.

Contribution to the development and production of multimedia content for academic projects.
Additional Information
The salary range for this role is 70k to 80k depending on experience.
