Job Description:
As a Digital Marketing Specialist at Summit Hydraulics, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our online presence and driving engagement across various digital platforms. You will be responsible for managing social media accounts, creating compelling product listings, writing engaging blog articles, SEO/SEM, making website edits, and crafting persuasive copy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital marketing, particularly with WooCommerce/WordPress, and will be adept at using Excel for data analysis and reporting.
Key Responsiblities:
1. Social Media & Email Marketing:
- Develop and implement social media & email strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.
- Create, schedule, and publish content across various social media platforms.
- Monitor and respond to social media interactions, comments, and messages.
2. Product Listing Creation:
- Write and optimize product descriptions for online listings.
- Ensure product listings are accurate, appealing, and aligned with SEO best practices.
- Update and manage product information on WooCommerce/WordPress.
3. Website Edits:
- Make regular updates and improvements to the company website using WordPress.
- Ensure the website is user-friendly, visually appealing, and up-to-date with the latest content.
4. Blog Articles & Forums:
- Research and write high-quality blog articles relevant to our industry.
- Engage with online forums and communities to promote our brand and products.
- Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate them into content strategy.
5. Copywriting
- Craft persuasive and compelling copy for various marketing materials, including email campaigns, advertisements, and promotional content.
- Maintain a consistent brand voice across all written communications.
Skills & Experience:
- At least 2 years of experience using WooCommerce/WordPress.
- Bachelor's degree in Digital Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Excel for data analysis, reporting, and managing marketing metrics.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Experience with SEO and digital marketing tools is a plus.
- Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
- Knowledge of email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp) is a plus.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
