Job Description
Mount Vernon Developmental Center is a short-term care facility, caring for individuals with Developmental Disabilities. We are looking for compassionate, caring, persons to fill our part-time and full-time vacancies. Multiple shifts available. Job Duties include, but not limited to: performs nursing procedures/treatments, administers controlled and non-controlled medications, administers oxygen, applies sterile dressings, inserts catheters, reinserts gastrostomy tubes, suction, collects specimens, transcribes physician's orders and provides direct nursing care to people with developmental disabilities who reside at the Mount Vernon Developmental Center. Ensures individuals are receiving good nursing care by working as a team. Completes daily/monthly charting/paperwork as required and maintains medical records.
We are a 24/7 facility; therefore, you must be able to work holidays, weekends etc.

Minimum Qualifications
License to practice nursing as a licensed practical nurse issued by Ohio Board of Nursing pursuant to Section 4723 Ohio Revised Code & proof of completion of an approved course in medication administration.
