Treering creates yearbooks for the Internet generation. The Silicon Valley, CA-based technology company combines the efficiency of just-in-time digital printing and the collaborative power of online social networks to create personalized printed yearbooks that commemorate each child's unique school experience. The process reduces the yearbook creation and financial burden for schools.
As the Head of Marketing reporting into the COO you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to drive sales, enhance brand recognition, and foster customer engagement for our Yearbook and Marketplace. This role requires a dynamic, visionary leader with a proven history as the Head of a Marketing, team, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for the education and yearbook industry.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic marketing plans to achieve company objectives and increase market share.
- Oversee the creation and execution of marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, print, social media, and events.
- Develop and implement lead-generation strategies to drive new business
- Identify opportunities to reach new market segments and expand market share
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and challenges.
- Ensure consistent brand messaging and identity across all marketing materials and channels.
- Enhance the company’s brand presence and reputation within the yearbook industry and among educational institutions.
- Analyze and report on the performance of digital campaigns, adjusting strategies as needed to meet KPIs and ROI goals.
- Set clear performance goals for direct reports and provide regular feedback and development opportunities.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.
- Lead initiatives to gather customer feedback and insights to inform product development and marketing strategies.
- Build, manage and coach a high-performing marketing team
- Oversee the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximizing ROI.
- Prepare regular budget reports and forecasts for senior management.
- Work closely with the sales, product development, and customer service teams to align marketing strategies with overall company goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 3 years in similar leadership role.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing tools and techniques.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce, Marketing Cloud and related Salesforce products
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative marketing ideas.
- Experience in managing and developing a team, including direct reports.
- Passion for the education sector and yearbook industry is a plus.
