The Marketing Assistant – Community Outreach & Events will be responsible for developing and executing community outreach programs, coordinating events, and collaborating with the service department to capture photos and videos of the team for bios, headshots, and social media content. This role is essential in promoting our brand, engaging with the community, and driving our marketing initiatives forward.
Key Responsibilities:
Community Outreach:
Develop and implement community outreach programs to enhance the company's presence in the local community.
Identify and establish partnerships with local organizations, schools, and community groups.
Represent the company at community events, trade shows, and local meetings.
Coordinate and manage volunteer and sponsorship activities.
Event Coordination:
Plan, organize, and execute company events, including customer appreciation events, community service projects, and promotional events.
Coordinate event logistics, including venue selection, vendor management, and on-site event management.
Promote events through various channels, including social media, email marketing, and community flyers.
Collaboration with the Service Department:
Work closely with the service department to arrange photo and video sessions of the team in action.
Capture high-quality photos and videos for team bios, headshots, and social media content.
Develop and maintain a library of visual assets for marketing purposes.
Administrative Support:
Assist with general marketing administrative tasks, including maintaining service tech support materials.
Support the marketing team with various projects and tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
1-2 years of experience in marketing, event planning, or community outreach.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Experience with photography and video production is a plus.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
Creative thinker with a passion for community engagement and marketing.
