Solar Technologies, a leading figure in the Bay Area's solar industry, is seeking a dedicated Project Coordinator. This pivotal role involves supporting various solar projects, office tasks, and operational activities. We are in search of a competent individual who can efficiently manage diverse responsibilities, seize abundant growth opportunities within our expanding team, and demonstrate proactive problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
- Documentation Management: Skillfully compile and organize permit packages and construction documents for submission. Note that most permit submissions and retrievals are conducted online, minimizing the need for physical visits to the building department or permit center.
- Permit Handling: Efficiently manage permit submissions and retrievals across multiple jurisdictions.
- Interconnection Processing: Submit applications for interconnection with PG&E and other local utilities.
- Workflow Oversight: Maintain vigilance over project progress by monitoring and tracking the status of permits and interconnection applications to ensure optimal project efficiency. Proactively recognize, address, and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Client Interaction: Engage with clients to provide updates and gather necessary information for permitting and utility interconnection processes.
Experience:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Prior experience in project administration or field construction is preferred.
- Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in verbal and written communication, exceptional time management, organizational competency, and the ability to multitask as needed. Strong critical thinking skills and a proactive approach to issue resolution are essential.
- Requirements: Possession of a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle (mileage reimbursement provided).
