Job Overview: As the Operations Manager at Bee Window, Inc., you play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless functioning of our day-to-day operations. Your expertise will be instrumental in managing customer service teams, warehouse personnel, paint and stain shop workers, service scheduling, measure scheduling, installation scheduling, overseeing office renovation projects, overall pipeline management, and leading your department towards operational efficiency and excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Enhanced Customer Problem Resolution and 5-Star Google Reviews:
- Continuously enhance our customer service approach by resolving issues promptly and effectively.
- Implement strategies to elevate customer experience, proactively addressing concerns and optimizing interactions throughout the customer journey.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and garner 5-star Google reviews.
Projection of Future Results and Advanced Reporting:
- Utilize past performance data to project future results, enabling proactive decision-making and strategic planning.
- Leverage advanced reporting tools to streamline processes from sale to installation, identifying bottlenecks and optimizing workflow for enhanced efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Departmental Oversight:
- Lead and supervise warehouse personnel, maintaining efficient inventory management, accurate product handling, and timely order fulfillment.
- Coordinate activities of paint and stain shop workers, ensuring scheduling optimization, stringent quality control, and effective inventory management.
- Oversee office renovation projects, collaborating closely with contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely completion within budget constraints.
- Oversee all scheduling, including measure, installation, and service appointments.
Pipeline Management:
- Maintain oversight of measure scheduling, installation scheduling, and product deliveries, guaranteeing smooth and timely execution of projects.
- Manage service-related appointments for previous customers, addressing any issues or concerns promptly to uphold customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Continuously monitor and optimize overall pipeline management to maximize efficiency and exceed customer expectations.
Team Leadership:
- Provide ongoing leadership and guidance to departmental teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, offer constructive feedback, and identify opportunities for training and development to elevate team effectiveness and morale.
Process Improvement:
- Proactively identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices to streamline operations, reduce costs, and enhance overall efficiency.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs), ensuring consistency and quality across all operational processes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Foster collaboration with sales, marketing, and customer service teams to align operational activities with business goals and objectives.
- Serve as a dedicated liaison between departments, facilitating communication and swiftly resolving any interdepartmental issues or challenges to ensure seamless operations.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years experience in operations management, preferably within a Home improvement/Home Remodeling background.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficient in inventory management and advanced reporting tools.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
