IMPORTANT POSITION AND RECRUITMENT INFO:

This is a temporary, non-exempt, seasonal position expected to work no more than 750 hours in one contract year and then separate from employment. This position may end sooner if business needs change.

As a temporary position, it is not eligible to participate in THA benefits. However, this position does receive accrued sick leave under the City of Tacoma's Paid Sick Leave ordinance: https://www.cityoftacoma.org/government/city_departments/finance/minimum_employment_standards/paid_sick_leave.

Are you passionate about making outdoor spaces beautiful and welcoming? Do you have a knack for maintaining lawns and grounds, coupled with top-notch customer service skills? If so, we want you on our team!
Responsibilities:

Maintain and repair lawns, gardens, and outdoor areas.

Perform general property upkeep and minor repairs.

Ensure our properties remain safe and enjoyable places for residents and visitors.

Perform additional general maintenance as needed.
Qualifications:

HS diploma/GED or equivalent.

Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record and auto insurance.

Experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or related fields.

Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude.

A passion for creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor environments.

Or, any combination of education and lived experience that demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of this position.
