The mission of the Center for Early Success is to strengthen the system of individuals and organizations caring for and educating children ages birth to five.
We are a professional, fast-paced, and collaborative organization.
The position ensures required activities are completed by all eligible Virginia Quality Birth to 5 (VQB5) programs across Ready Region Southside (RRSS), manages communications with internal and external partners, and maintains the organization's brand through outreach initiatives in accordance with Ready Regions grant guidelines.
Specific Responsibilities to include:
- Serve as a community ambassador for RRSS.
- Provide technical assistance (TA) to support sites with RRSS.
- Support and represent all branches of RRSS initiatives.
- Conduct consultations with providers including on-site, phone or email support.
- Actively participate in Virginia Preschool Initiative (VPI) Steering Committees and Headstart (HS) Policy Councils as requested.
- Attend all required meetings/conferences.
- Support development and implementation of written VQB5 policies.
- Maintain and increase obeserver capacity throughout the region.
- Conduct class observations and schedule roundtable discussions based on resources and needs.
- Oversee contracted observers
