Universal ComOne is looking for a Outside Sales Rep for our New Orleans and MS Gulf Coast team. This job can be done either out of our New Orleans office or Gulfport, MS office.
We are looking for college educated professionals with energy and excellent communications skills, even if they do not have any sales experience.
Knowledge in any of the following areas would be preferential: 1) hosted (voice over IP) or on premise PBX 2) IT management 3) video surveillance 4) door access controls.
Job Duties:
-Actively cultivate short and long term prospects with a constant focus on finalizing sales
-Promote Universal Com One through networking/community events to connect with prospective customers
-Maintain appropriate weekly sales activity report to include opportunities and prospecting data.
-Engage with internal tech support resources to better understand proposed technical solutions to better understand the technical basis of our solutions so you can provide more up front value to prospect
-Ask questions necessary to understand opportunities in your prospects: What are their challenges, why they are investigating solutions, what is the budget process, who is the decision maker, and what is the timeframe?
-Effectively develop, customize, review and create proposals, contracts, and RFPs in conjunction with management and other team members

Job Snapshot:
Base Pay - $55,000 - $65,000.00/Year depending on experience
Commission - Total compensation at plan expected to be in $80k-$90k range
