The Blue Star Power Division Project Manager/Administrator is responsible for the ongoing support and administration of/for Electrical & Generator within Blue Star Gas. The PM will demonstrate integrity, accountability, organizational and excellent interpersonal (as well as customer service) skills. This candidate possesses a high level of electrical and construction knowledge. The PM will work hand in hand with the Lead Electrician and support the Sales and Service staff. This position will report to the Power Division Director.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Include the following, other duties may be assigned.
· Work with the Director, Electrical, Tech and Sales Teams to develop, and ensure efficient completion of all electrical and generator projects. Pursuing the highest degree of customer satisfaction, and upholding BSG standard of excellence.
· Deep understanding of the electric and associated power generation technologies and processes.
· Work with Electrical and Sales to develop and manage projects to safe, efficient, and profitable conclusion. Including (but not limited to) project planning, site visits, material ordering, permitting.
· Ensure financial performance meets or exceeds project design.
· Ensure vendor invoice processing and inventory management compliance in relation to electric and generator transactions.
· Assist sales staff in vetting potential customers.
· Support Sales with electrical and generator questions/issues.
· Support the Electrical team in day-to-day billing and inventory management.
· Assist in the overall coordination of the Power Generation initiative.
· Ability to develop strong relationships and team cohesion.
· Represent and exemplify the culture and values of Blue Star Gas to all employees, customers.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
· Journeyman Level Electrical skill
· At least 5 years of experience in Personnel and Project management.
