We are currently looking for a dynamic person to be our Production Technician.
This position is based in Ohatchee, Alabama.
Do you enjoy working in an industry that makes a difference in terms of protection and safety for various communities? This position could be for you. The role of a Production Technician will have the following responsibilities:
KEY OBJECTIVES
- Provide technical support to all INNOTEX production sites located in Canada and the US.
- Create and maintain technical documents, specifications, samples, patterns, and tools for production.
- Generate visual content that supports technical documents (Illustrator, Corel, or other software).
- Ensure that different production sites have and use tools created by the technical department and ensure that information transmitted to relevant personnel is understood.
- Coordinate sample manufacturing and embroidery developments.
- Ensure that each order with customer specifications is processed within prescribed deadlines.
- Participate in technical meetings to ensure that all tools are in place before production.
- Research effective methods to improve internal production tools.
- Provide necessary technical support and training to all relevant departments.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in apparel design/sowing or other pertinent experience in a manufacturing setting
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the apparel industry, and in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with Excel and Office suite (Knowledge of Illustrator or Corel preferred/Experience with Gerber Accumark preferred)
- Experience in an ISO9001 certified environment
