Responsibilities:
- Greet and interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take drink orders and serve beverages to customers
- Prepare and mix a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to recipes
- Provide recommendations and suggestions for drink selections
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Monitor customer behavior and ensure responsible alcohol service
- Process customer payments and handle cash transactions accurately
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operation of the bar
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar role is preferred
- Strong math skills for accurately calculating drink prices and making change
- Knowledge of restaurant or bartending procedures, including drink recipes and garnishments
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage and interact with customers effectively
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and practices
- Cash handling experience and proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems
