The Whitestone Group Inc. is an industry leading security company providing services to the U.S. Government with an international presence. The company is currently seeking to hire a Program Manager for a federal contract.

The Project Manager is the Chief Administrator responsible for the overall supervision, management and evaluation of all personnel assigned to this contract. Full authority to act on behalf of his/her company at the locations specified under this contract, he/she will accomplish this by planning, directing and organizing any and all facets of their contractual responsibilities.
Position must meet the following:
- Secret Clearance
- Armed Washington DC SPO license
- 4 year college degree and 6 years law enforcement experience indicating supervisory or mgt experience OR Assoc degree and 10 years law enforcement experience with 4 years as supervisor or manager
- Training/experience in fiscal management/budget and personnel administration
- Demonstrated experience to effectively manage a security force of 50+ officers
Duties
- Control and manage overall administration of the contract
- Manage and coordinate daily services, including work requirements, special orders, and other duties as required by the government, under the terms of a federal government contract, as well as ensure contract compliance
- Serve as contractor’s chief representative at the work site and have the authority to act on behalf of the contractor
- Implement an ongoing, intensive training program that will ensure personnel are proficient in their assigned duties
- Ensure all necessary paperwork is completed for issuance of building access badges for all contract staff prior to the start of duty; ensure badges are displayed during duty and returned when officer resigns or is terminated
- Develop and maintain a relationship with the government’s Contracting Officer and Contracting Officer Representative
- Respond to incidents and emergencies that have the potential to occur outside of normal work hours, including the availability to work different hour as directed by the government and be available by company-provided cell phone on a continuous 24-hour basis
- Meet all training and certification requirements of the contract
- Responsible for all onsite security matters, including appointment a designated person for taking contractor employee fingerprints, photographs, etc.
- Daily maintain and update an electronic database containing training, post assignments, and qualifications of contractor personnel
- Approve and report leave requests by all contract employees
- Meet with the government bi-weekly to discuss training, manning, and other operational issues covering all areas of the contract
- Make and complete all legal requirements with the necessary officials at Washington DC SOMB to ensure proper certification and licensing of officers
