UnisLink is seeking a highly organized and proactive Human Resources Administrator to join our team. As the key support to the Head of Human Resources, you will play a crucial role in managing HR Operations for a growing medical billing company with over 200 employees across the United States. Primary Responsibilities:
- Support the Head of HR in implementing HR projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing employee engagement, performance and development.
- Assist in the administration of day-to-day HR activities, including onboarding, offboarding, employee record maintenance and benefits administration.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRIS system.
- Review, process, and submit bi-weekly payroll for all US employees. Ensure accuracy at the highest level and maintain accurate payroll records.
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and provide timely and accurate information regarding HR policies and procedures.
- Assist in addressing employee concerns and resolving workplace issues in collaboration with the Head of HR.
- Assist with benefit administration (i.e., explain benefits self-enrollment process during open enrollment, oversee employee benefit changes, benefit claim disputes, resolve administrative disputes with carriers, etc.)
- Coordinate open enrollment periods and communicate benefits information to employees.
- Guarantee compliance with state and federal employment regulations, including responding to state unemployment claims, registering UnisLink with new states, submitting quarterly reports to each state, manage monthly exclusion screenings for State Medicaid regulations, etc.
- Assist with FMLA leave administration process (i.e., gathering and completing all required paperwork, tracking intermittent and reduced schedule leave requests, ensure compliance with accommodation requests under the ADA, etc.)
- Support the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes and schedule interviews for the hiring team.
- Coordinate and manage new hire orientation and training programs.
- Assist with new hire onboarding including completion of background checks, all new hire paperwork (I-9 documentation, etc.), and compliance trainings.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive HR information with discretion.

- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a multi-state environment.
- Proficiency in HRIS Systems (Paylocity is a bonus) and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven customer service-orientated approach.
- Exceptional organizational skills with a high attention to detail and time management skills.
- Proven ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to share information effectively, while paying careful attention to concerns and questions from employees and candidates.
- Flexible, assertive, team player who is willing to help out wherever needed to achieve the company’s aggressive goals.
- High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices and employment laws
- Experience working with a remote workforce
