Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team an Office Manager for our two locations (Sugar Land and Fulshear). The Office Manager will oversee the daily operations of the front desk/back office and ensure excellent patient service. This position requires strong administrative skills, knowledge of dental office procedures, and familiarity with HIPAA regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the front desk operations, including scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and greeting patients
- Ensure smooth patient flow by coordinating with dental providers and staff
- Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy and confidentiality
- Handle patient inquiries, resolve complaints, and provide exceptional customer service
- Train and supervise front office staff to ensure efficient operations
- Monitor inventory of office supplies and place orders as needed
- Collaborate with insurance companies to verify coverage and process claims
- Maintain knowledge of medical terminology and dental procedures to effectively communicate with patients and providers
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a dental office (minimum 2 years)
- Proficient in using phone systems and other office equipment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Familiarity with medical terminology is a plus
