OVERVIEW
We’re currently seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Employee Relations Partner based in Rockford, IL to join our growing team.
WHAT YOU WILL DO as the Employee Relations Partner
The Employee Relations Partner will plan, develop, and implement initiatives to drive positive workforce engagement across Operations in both our Manufacturing and Distribution Center locations. These locations are near each other!
This role is critical in developing and maintaining a positive, productive workplace culture.
You will be responsible for addressing employee concerns, fostering open communication, and working on a team that will be implementing programs that enhance employee satisfaction and retention.
Additional Employee Relations Partner responsibilities include:
· Serve as a primary contact for employee relations issues, providing guidance, support, and resolution strategies.
· Conduct thorough investigations regarding complaints and conflicts, ensuring fair and consistent treatment.
· Develop and implement employee relations policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and organizational standards.
· Facilitate communication between employees and management.
· Advise managers and supervisors on best practices for handling employee concerns and performance issues.
· Coordinate and conduct training sessions on topics such as workplace ethics, harassment prevention, and conflict resolution.
· Monitor and analyze trends in employee behavior and satisfaction to proactively address potential issues.
· Collaborate with HR and management to develop strategies for employee engagement, recognition, and retention.
· Assist in the development and implementation of organizational culture initiatives.
· Keep abreast of legal and regulatory changes affecting employee relations and ensure organizational compliance.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU as the Employee Relations Partner
· Bachelor's degree
· 4+ years of experience in an employee relations role
· Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive issues with empathy and confidentiality
· Proven ability to mediate conflicts and facilitate discussions
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications:
· SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification.
· Spanish or multi-lingual fluency.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
