Primary Functions:
Fast-paced team environment requires an organized, detailed individual with strong communication skills, knowledge of Word. Insurance experience is helpful along with the ability to function in a paperless environment.
Work closely with, and at the direction of, Producers and Team Leader in all aspects of providing excellent client service to personal lines clients.
Provide prompt, accurate, courteous communication to our customers, producers and company personnel. Grow and develop your talents and insurance knowledge to the highest level possible. Provide, with a positive attitude, a high level of support in obtaining, maintaining, expanding, and servicing our personal lines accounts.
DUTIES/ACTIVITIES INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Maintain accurate, up to date suspense list of outstanding/future items; including regular review of assignments and deadlines with team members. Maintain all client activity and documentation in TAM (The Agency Manager) system.
- Timely processing daily service requests; including endorsements, cancellations, evidence of property, auto ID cards, client payments and routine correspondence between carriers, agency and insured.
- Determine renewal timelines; Monitor renewal process; verifying all policies listed on expiration list have been renewed, rewritten, etc.
- Online quoting and new business submissions. Check new and renewal policies for accuracy in rating, typing and coverage. Ensure that these items are delivered and/or mailed to client on a timely basis.
- Be familiar with and follow agency errors & omissions guidelines.
- Assist in cross selling and account rounding, expired or lost accounts.
- Keep current on rates, forms and coverage. Maintain required licenses; Participate in seminars and classes for skill and knowledge development. Assist with and attend department meetings.
- Perform special projects at management’s request.
- Communicate both in person and by phone with clients for new business and service requests.
- Assist other agency departments in securing and/or providing information necessary to issue appropriate policies in their department for which we have a mutual client. Refer Life and Health/Personal Insurance leads to that department.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
