POSITION SUMMARY: MAJOR TASKS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Food Service Worker stocks, portions, assembles and delivers food stuffs for patient trays; cleans and sanitizes equipment surfaces in the Food Service areas.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
Trained on the Job
Experience: Desirable characteristics include at least one year of experience in a hospital related environment; must be able to follow
direction and to perform work according to department standards when no directions are given; must be emotionally mature and able to function effectively
under stress.
