Airoom Architects, Builders & Remodelers has a unique opportunity for results-oriented individuals with strong project management experience in construction, architecture, or interior design to work with clients designing and finalizing plan and selection details for single family residential remodeling and custom home projects.
Qualified candidates must have proven experience in high-end single family residential construction and remodeling with hands-on carpentry experience and strong trade knowledge. The right candidate will be self-motivated, with a proven ability to manage multiple projects through the use of scheduling and tracking software for multi-level trade and project scheduling. Experience with BuilderTrend, MS Office products, Word, Excel and Outlook is a must.
This position requires excellent communication skills by a results-driven person who has the ability to effectively manage and follow through on multiple priorities.
Responsibilities:
- 5+ years of project management, architectural, design and/or construction experience required.
- Architecture and/or Project Management/Construction Management degree preferred.
- Proficient experience in reading residential construction drawings and specifications, red lining drawings, and strong residential product knowledge with construction materials including windows & doors, siding and roofing materials, trims and moldings, lighting, floorings materials, cabinetry, and engineered framing materials a plus.
- Face to face experience in problem solving and solution selling with clients. Ability to move prospective clients through review meetings, plan changes and enhancements, architectural product selections and detail finalizations, including windows, doors, trims, sidings, exterior detail selections, roof lines and fenestrations completion of materials and selection schedules.
- Outgoing and motivating personality that prefers being up front client facing versus "back room" production role.
- Sophisticated and worldly design sense for upscale clients.
