Summary:
The Recruiting Specialist will work closely with hiring managers (internal/external) to gain a comprehensive understanding of the company’s hiring needs for every role, and to meet competitive hiring goals and expectations. Manage the full recruiting lifecycle across a variety of open roles, assisting hiring managers to find, hire, and retain quality candidates. Partner with manager to design, refine, and implement innovative recruitment strategies. Remain active with job boards, social networks, and platforms for finding quality candidates, and create and post job descriptions and announcements.
Responsibilities:
- Develop relationships with hiring managers to build awareness of their department, hiring needs, and job specifications.
- Utilize knowledge of multiple recruiting sources and execute innovative strategies to find high-quality qualified candidates.
- Develop and execute recruitment strategies appropriate for each role.
- Create and maintain job postings through recruiting platforms including but not limited to LinkedIn, Indeed, social media or other identified platforms based on position posted.
- Manage sponsored job campaign performance; adjust budgets and campaign structure as needed.
- Conduct full cycle recruiting for roles including sourcing, screening, interviewing, coordinating additional interviews, offers and the onboarding process. Create summaries of individual candidates and make recommendations to the client Hiring Manager for those to continue in the process.
- Administer pre-employment requirements, as required.
- Create talent pipeline for hiring needs by evaluating and screening potential candidates.
- Maintain database of candidate records (resumes, interview notes, etc.) for active and passive prospects.
- Provide support to hiring managers and candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Analyze and provide data and metrics for staffing needs, recruiting effectiveness, and turnover.
- Establish priorities, manage deadlines, exercise a high degree of professionalism in interactions with all levels of internal/external clients and candidates.
- Maintain current knowledge of the company's/client’s hiring practices while maintaining a high degree of confidentiality and discretion.
- May be working on internal roles as well as client roles.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, customer service focused.
- Strong attention to detail, project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment recruiting for professional level and specialized roles.
- Proficient with job boards and computer systems designed specifically for HR/recruiting.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret and communicate data.
- Possess a strong work ethic; demonstrates initiative and integrity.
- Works well independently while understanding the importance of teamwork.
- Previous experience with HRIS systems and external recruiting platforms such as Indeed, LinkedIn, and Glassdoor dashboards, professional networks and social media.
- Microsoft Office proficient.
