Responsibilities
The Systems Engineer (SE) is responsible for board management and program governance as well as providing a technical means of communications across a diverse set of stakeholders. The SE leverages a combination of agile tools as an enabler for systems engineers to deliver, collaborate, and manage workflows and technical products. Reporting directly to the Chief of Operations, the SE works closely with program staff and customers to establish a digital framework that meets mission objectives.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducts requirements engineering, solutions engineering, scheduling, reliability, resiliency, services development, integration, test and evaluation, maintainability and analysis across CAP/SAP architectures and Federal Agencies
- Establishes online frameworks for collaboration, workflow management, and project management across multiple security domains
- Translates high-level program strategies into system requirements, and works with stakeholders to achieve objectives
- Develops solutions based on analysis of requirements and new technology
- Assists in the capture and translation of mission and customer requirements
- Assists with AoA, CoA, Trade Studies and Engineering assessments
- Works closely with development contractor and program security team as the systems integrator SME and support role to achieve mission objectives as a cohesive team
- Identifies and presents courses of action, trade studies, and technical/engineering assessments to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Leads the resolution of complex technical issues and risk management efforts, providing a sound systems engineering approach and an enterprise perspective
- Manages program data repository and records management framework
- Documents discussions from Technical Exchange Meetings, Decision Boards and internal program forums.
- Establishes effective customer relationships with senior level government personnel with the ability to work independently and within a team environment.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Science, Engineering, or related technical experience field such as engineering, physics, mathematics, operations research, engineering management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related STEM degree program.
- 6+ years of experience with government or industry in relevant work areas including DoD/IC Acquisition Process, Requirements Process, PPBES Process or systems engineering of a large complex System of Systems environment.
- 6+ years of experience supporting IC or DoD operations.
- 6+ years of experience with the systems engineering lifecycle
- 6+ years of experience in Managing Highly Complex Projects through Entire Research Cycle, Including Research Design, Resource Planning, Data Collection, Analysis & Documentation of Research Findings
- 6+ years of experience Supporting the Assessment, Evaluation and Deployment of New / Emerging Tech into Operations or Architectural Impacts and Recommended Way Forward
- Strong interpersonal, problem solving, organizational and multi-tasking skills.
- Analytical and strong organizational skills with excellent written/verbal communications, technical/non-technical presentations skills.
- Experience in leading analysis for communication studies.
- Experience supporting the assessment, evaluation, and development of new or emerging technologies into operations.
- Active TS/SCI Clearance with ability to pass a poly.
Desired Qualifications:
- 1+ years experience with Jira/Confluence and SharePoint.
- Experience with business process re-engineering
- Familiarity with Sensitive GEOINT missions, operations, and processes.
- SAFe Agilist certification Target Salary Range
$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
