Odyssey is working with a growing SaaS company to find an experienced Sales Director. This position will be remote, but candidates must reside in Texas and be able to drive into Dallas a few times a year.

Job Details:
As the Head of Sales, you are responsible for leading and managing the business development and sales team, working with cross-functional teams on improving the sale process.
You leverage your sales experience and coaching skills to continuously improve your direct team’s abilities and productivity. You leverage your strong data and analytical skills to know what data you need and where to find it, using data in conversations at both the executive and rep levels to tell the right story and highlight key areas of opportunity and risk.
You are responsible for the mission alignment, engagement, and goal attainment of your sales stack. You collaborate with Leadership to set goals that roll up to and deliver on our monthly, quarterly, and annual targets. Our team is agile, empathetic, hardworking, and above all else focused on improving the lives of those working and/or owning businesses in field services. Our success is their success.
Responsibilities:
- Create a leadership environment where your team is strongly aligned with company vision and objectives.
- Coach and develop your salespeople.
- Seek, collect, and deeply analyze data to identify risks and opportunities within the sales funnel
- Enhance growth through activity, conversion, and engagement to drive performance
- Informs decision makers by making effective proposals that align to company objectives
- Work with cross-functional teams to craft and improve marketing and product supported functions such as Go-to-Market strategy and sales collateral.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years sales management experience with field and/or inside sales
- A strong background in sales management in a high-growth environment (SaaS and B2B a plus)
- Experience leading, hiring, and training salespeople.
- Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Creating a culture of continuous development that intentionally accelerates individual growth.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $150,000.00 - $190,000.00 per year
