Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Cash Poster to join our team in the medical setting. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of medical billing, coding, and terminology to accurately post payments and reconcile accounts.
Duties:
- Post payments received from insurance companies and patients into the billing system
- Saving backups to the system
- Weekly Cash balancing, monthly cash reconciliation
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in payments
- Collaborate with the billing team to address payment posting issues
Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED required
- Previous experience in a medical office setting required
- Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with medical collection practices
- Knowledge of ICD-9, ICD-10, DRG, and medical terminology

Compensation for roles varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by state or local law, we provide a reasonable pay scale to include the hourly or salary range that we reasonably expect to pay for roles, as stated above.
