WSRMP is a member-owned and member-governed risk pool for public school districts in Washington. We are seeking a talented I.T. professional to support our I.T. systems and the technology needs of our approximately 36 staff.
Role Overview: As an Information Systems Consultant at WSRMP, you’ll have a diverse set of responsibilities. These include:
- End User Support: Assisting end users with technical issues, troubleshooting software and hardware problems, and providing timely solutions.
- Customized Business Process Solutions: Developing tailored solutions to improve business processes within the organization.
- Network Administration: Managing LAN and WAN systems with servers hosted in Azure.
- Microsoft 365 Environment Administration: Supporting and maintaining Microsoft 365 services including Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Intune, and Defender for Endpoint.
- Other SaaS Administration: Supporting a variety of other SaaS applications such as Origami Risk RMIS, Zoom video conferencing and VoIP phone system, WPEngine.com, and MailChimp.

Information Systems Consultant Purpose Statement
The job of Information Systems Consultant is done for the purpose/s of designing network systems; analyzing and evaluating data collection systems; and maintaining network hardware and software to meet organization requirements.
This job reports to IT/IS Manager. Remote position with occasional travel.
Essential Functions
- Administers systems and servers related to department LAN and WAN for the purpose of ensuring availability of services to authorized users.
- Maintains and supports a Microsoft 365 environment including services such as SharePoint, Teams, Exchange, Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI), Intune, Entra, and Azure.
- Collaborates with a variety of individuals (e.g. end user staff, vendors, component managers, members, etc.) for the purpose of exchanging information and ensuring quality information collection and reporting systems.
- Develops reporting systems (e.g. reporting and meeting requirements, administrative monitoring, planning and information dissemination, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring compliance.
- Develops and manages technology solutions for data analysis, manipulation, and testing for the purposes of supporting business needs.
- Monitors projects for the purpose of ensuring compliance with schedules, deadlines and/or administrative requirements.
- Produces and maintains documentation of I.T. systems and processes, as well as end user documentation.
- Responds to staff inquiries for the purpose of providing end user support, training, and assistance on the effective use of various software applications, responding to network connectivity issues and ensuring efficient organization operations.
- Installs and repairs computer equipment, hardware, and software for the purpose of upgrading and maintaining computer and network operations while minimizing risk and down time and maintaining availability of services to clients.
- Researches and evaluates computer hardware and software applications, vendors, consultants, and current technology trends for the purpose of guiding purchases and enhancing administrative, network or user capabilities.

- Occasional travel may be required.

Work Environment
