This position works closely with our DON and is responsible for monitoring nursing staff, nursing activities, and patient care, as well as ensuring nursing procedures and policies are in compliance with federal, state, and local standards.
A successful ADON is knowledgeable (but not a know-it-all), professional (but can have fun), dedicated (but has a life outside) and must sing karaoke! Just kidding! We're looking for someone dedicated to our residents and a great support for our staff and Director of Nursing.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing clinical operations and auditing resident’s care plans.
- Communicating with schedulers and monitoring daily staffing.
- Ensuring nursing staff follows departmental procedures and policies.
- Conducting patient rounds and addressing complaints.
- Evaluating the performance of the department and recommending improvements.
- Scheduling staff meetings for patient updates, issues, and recommendations.
- Ensuring compliance with state, federal, and local standards.
- Keeping patient and employee records updated and accurate.
- Conduct QAPI projects and demonstrate strong leadership in investigating of incidents/accidents promoting safety of the residents
Our best applicant will have:

Current LPN or RN license in Washington State

At least one year of Nursing Experience

Current CPR training and card
