Senior Training and Cirriculum Development Specialist-Net Sys Ops
Plans, develops, and implements technical product or system training programs for customers, and/or employees, and field support personnel. Technical training may include standard, repeatable modules, customized and new product modules. Obtains information from customer and technical organizations, engineering, software, and product requirements to prepare training programs; prepares lesson plans and training materials; designs product demonstrations; develops course content; determines methodology; and coordinates the development of training aids. Conducts training sessions, demonstrations, and develops criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities. Requires prior technical subject matter knowledge and experience. May administer tests. May include military trainers.
1. Confers with management, employees and clients to gain knowledge of work situations requiring technical training and to better understand changes in policies, procedures, regulations, business initiatives and technologies.
2. Formulates teaching outline and determines instructional methods such as individual training, group instruction, lectures, demonstrations, conferences, meetings, and workshops.
3. Trainers are expected to have technical expertise in routing, switching, voice modules and Type 1 encryption modules.
4. Continuously revises lesson plans to ensure course material reflect product features, meet new training requirements and to keep technical information up to date.
5. Facilitates the execution of all training programs.
6. Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.
Job Summary
Obtain and maintain instructor qualifications IAW 39 lOS SOPs that pertain to Instructor Responsibilities, Instructional System Design (ISD), course curriculum and Course Administration. Develop and modify instructional materials (plans of instruction, lesson plans, student, and instructor handbook/instructions, test questions, and visual aids) for both in-residence courseware and/or non-resident on-line ADL courseware. Augment and support the Government with the development and maintenance of the Expeditionary Communications curriculum. Augment and support other instructors with Expeditionary Communications course execution and/or during course exercises. Serve as exercise controller during Expeditionary Communications course exercises (if required).
Qualifications
Associate degree with 5 - 8 years expeditionary/tactical communications or equivalent experience.
Required Skills and Experience
Secret Clearance (minimum) Associate Degree or equivalent experience Cyber certification commensurate with DoDl 8570.1 m- lAT Level II Proficient in MS Office Word, PowerPoint, Excel

Instructor Methodology Course (IMC) or Basic Instructor Course (BIC) certificate Instructional Systems Design (ISD) or Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate (ADDIE) certificate
Network Systems Operations Specialty (1D7X1A)
Significant experience in routing, switching and infrastructure related communications to include encryption devices and various physical, MAC, network, and transport layer devices, preferably a mix of operational experience and developing course materials. 7+years preferred.
Experience with U.S. laws, DoD policies, Air Force and ANG regulations, and NGB and state policies applicable to the processes outlined above, as well as with applicable automated systems, is highly desired.
Strong organizational skills and a confident, detail-oriented, customer-oriented, positive mindset will be a great asset to this position. Additional skills required are as follows:
Extensive experience with Cisco routing and switching devices.
Extensive experience with REDCOM Local Session Controller as it relates to the REDCOM Slice Voice/VoIP server.
Experience with IEEE cable/interface standards.
Experience with Theater Deployable Communications (TDC) Colorless Core (FCP) equipment
Extensive experience with HAIPE bulk encryption techniques (i.e.- KG-175D, KG-250X, AES, etc.).
Expert Level Understanding of infrastructure and transport communications fundamentals.
Strong background in TCP/IP internet working, routing, switching, VLAN configuration and troubleshooting IP networks.
Good working knowledge of switch and routing security protocols and techniques.
Ability to perform complex network troubleshooting and resolve programming errors and equipment malfunctions.
