Cervelli Real Estate & Property Management is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to join our team. In this role, you will assist the Property Manager in overseeing the daily operations of our property. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative skills, knowledge of real estate practices, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following
- Assist the Property Manager in managing all aspects of property operations
- Handle tenant inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a timely manner
-Fulfilling tenant hours at each property
- Conduct property tours and show available units to prospective tenants
-Conduct unit, move in and move out inspections
- Assist with collecting paperwork and information for annual recertifications
- Coordinate maintenance requests and ensure timely resolution of maintenance issues
- Assist with marketing efforts to attract new tenants
- Maintain knowledge of Section 8, LIHTC, and Fair Housing regulations to ensure compliance
Skills
- Conflict management: Ability to handle tenant conflicts and resolve issues effectively
- Real estate administrative: Proficient in handling administrative tasks related to property management
- Experience using property management software such as OneSite or Yardi for managing tenant information and maintenance requests.
- Sales: Strong sales skills to effectively market available units and attract new tenants
- Customer relationship management: Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with tenants and provide excellent customer service
- Spanish speaking preferred
