Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Medical/Surgical team. The ideal candidate will provide quality care to patients in a hospital setting, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
Duties:
- Manage and coordinate patient care throughout their hospital stay
- Administer medications and treatments according to established standards
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, reporting changes to the healthcare team
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention and post-hospital care
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to create individualized care plans
- Perform various medical procedures including venipuncture, ostomy care, and airway management
Qualifications:
- Valid RN license in the state of practice
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
- Previous experience in Medical/Surgical nursing is a plus
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology
- Familiarity with pediatric and infant care
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize patient needs
- Experience in the Operating Room (OR) is beneficial
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
