Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer and direct phone calls to the appropriate person or department
- Provide information to callers and visitors, including answering questions and addressing concerns
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for multiple staff members
- Perform administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and faxing
- Sort and distribute incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area
- Assist with event planning and coordination
Experience:
- Previous experience as a receptionist or in a similar administrative role is preferred
- Proficiency in office management software such as Microsoft Office Suite or Google Suite
- Knowledge of dental or medical office procedures is a plus
- Strong attention to detail, including proofreading skills
- Ability to transcribe information accurately and efficiently
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
