POSITION SUMMARY
The Registered Nurse’s primary duties include providing treatment, rehabilitation, and medical support services to all persons served within Substance Abuse & Alcohol Treatment Program. The RN has responsibility for oversight of medication pursuant to psychiatrist’s orders, health needs of persons, assessing somatic complaints of persons, maintaining medical records, and implementing orders of primary care physicians.

Maintains health records and cares for persons served within the Program.

Provides supportive counseling, support services, and other clinical and rehabilitative services as credentialed.

Assists with dispensing prescribed medication,

Works as an integral member of the treatment team and consistently exercises discretion and independent judgment in the performance of the duties of the position.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Must be a Delaware Registered Nurse with experience in the Substance Abuse / Mental Health field.
