You must have prior success selling and/or customer service in B2B setting, including working as a team player with your sales team to meet profitable sales goals, handling walk-in customers with exceptional customer service, building partnerships with customers who trust you, sharing your horticulture knowledge with customers to make them look good and strategizing with your customers and sales team to develop sales. You excel at being accountable to handle all tasks of the day including customer sales, meeting expectations of the sales yard, and assisting the team with any tasks needed to meet our goals. You are organized with a strong work ethic and positive attitude. You are a strong communicator who is highly responsive. You are energetic, yet focused, dedicated and engaged in the end goal.
Your proven track record as a successful horticulture professional, combined with great relationship-building skills will allow you to shine in this Sales Representative role. In this sales team position you will be responsible to meet sales goals each day. You are passionate about the green industry, selling, closing, and building rapport quickly with customers.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 1+ years' successful B2B sales and/or customer service experience
- 1+ years’ horticulture experience (landscape, garden center, greenhouse, nursery, etc.)
- Significant experience with CRM solutions and tech savvy
- Willingness to travel to customers with sales team to evaluate customer satisfaction and salesperson performance when needed. The majority of each day is spent at the local sales yard. 80% outdoors/20% indoors.
- Knowledge of plant varieties and plant care is required.
- Onsite work at our Avon, Ohio location. Possible travel between Avon and Broadview Heights locations based on workload.
